Ordinary Mortals Triathlon began in 1992 at the Pueblo West Regional Center. In a few short years it grew into a well known, respected Colorado event with 500 participants each year. After a 10 year run, the Ordinary Mortals Triathlon disappeared. Now 10 years later, CSU-Pueblo is bringing the Ordinary Mortals back and better than ever!
The morning will include the Ordinary Mortals triathlon/duathlon followed at noon by the Mini Mortals Youth Triathlon. All events are USAT sanctioned and will be chip timed by Summit Racing.
This early season Super Sprint Reverse Triathlon includes a 3.1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike then 300 yard serpentine pool swim and run to the finish. The Ordinary Mortals Duathlon ends with a 2.0 mile run to the finish. Both events are held on Colorado State University-Pueblo campus with bike course out to Pueblo airport and back.
